Under the Mandatory Building Inspection Scheme (MBIS) and Mandatory Window Inspection Scheme (MWIS), owners of private buildings aged 30 years or above and 10 years or above (excluding domestic buildings not exceeding 3 storeys) respectively, upon receiving statutory notices from the Buildings Department, must appoint a Registered Inspector to conduct the prescribed inspection for the common parts, external walls, and projections or signboards of the building, and appoint a Qualified Person to conduct the prescribed inspection for all windows in the building, and supervise any prescribed repairs found necessary after the inspection. EJW is a Buildings Department Registered Minor Works Contractor (Class II, Registration No.: MWC 23/2025). Our team includes Qualified Persons and Registered Inspectors, making EJW a qualified window inspection company for prescribed inspections and prescribed repairs under both MWIS and MBIS.
