• Window Frame Waterproofing Works: 3 years free warranty service.
• Window Grille and Mosquito Net Products: 3 years free warranty service.
• Aluminium Window Accessories: 5 years free warranty service.

Applicable only to accessories replaced by the Company.

Scope of Warranty Coverage

• Window Frame Waterproofing: Window frame waterproofing works carried out by the Company, including the workmanship of movable window waterproof rubber seals, aluminium window frame waterproof rubber seals, and movable window glass sealant. Water leakage caused by the Company’s workmanship falls within the warranty coverage.
• Aluminium Window Damage: Damage or malfunction of aluminium window accessories replaced by the Company arising from normal use.
• Window Grille and Mosquito Net: Damage to window grilles, mosquito nets, and tempered glass window grilles caused by manufacturing quality issues or installation problems by the Company.
• Functionality of Aluminium Window Accessories: Issues affecting the normal operation of aluminium window accessories (such as hinges, handles, etc.) replaced by the Company due to normal use.
• Buildings Department Standards: Aluminium window repair services provided by the Company ensure compliance with the structural safety requirements of the Hong Kong Buildings Department’s Mandatory Window Inspection Scheme, including the stability of window frames and accessories to prevent loosening or falling.

Exclusions from Warranty Coverage

• Accessories Not Replaced by the Company: Functional issues of any aluminium window accessories not replaced by the Company.
• Leakage Not Caused by the Company’s Works: Water leakage caused by the building’s external walls, building structure, or other site environmental factors, or leakage arising from waterproof rubber seals, window frame sealants, or glass sealants not applied by the Company.
• Subjective Issues: Customer perceptions regarding feel of use, operational noise, or special requirements beyond industry standards.
• Human Damage and Force Majeure: Damage caused by human factors, improper use, unauthorised alterations, natural disasters, or other force majeure events.
• Non-Quality Issues of Window Grille and Mosquito Net: Damage to window grilles and mosquito nets not caused by manufacturing quality issues or the Company’s installation.

Special Notes on Water Leakage Issues

Pursuant to the Hong Kong Buildings Department’s Mandatory Window Inspection Scheme, property owners are required to ensure the structural safety of aluminium windows. The Company’s standard repair services ensure that aluminium windows meet structural safety requirements. However, water leakage issues typically involve the sealing performance of movable window waterproof rubber seals, aluminium window frame waterproof rubber seals, and movable window glass sealant, as well as site environmental factors (such as the building’s external walls or building structure).

The window frame waterproofing works provided by the Company cover only the three items mentioned above that are carried out by the Company. If the customer has not engaged the Company to perform the above leakage-related repairs, any subsequent water leakage arising from such items shall not fall within the Company’s free warranty coverage. Customers are advised to expressly request leakage-related repairs when accepting the service and to confirm that there are no other influencing factors in the site environment.

Special Attention: Impact of Hollow Drumming (空鼓) on Waterproofing Effectiveness

If hollow drumming (空鼓) exists on the building’s external walls and has not been properly rectified beforehand, the waterproofing performance will still be affected even after window frame waterproofing works are carried out. The Company hereby states in good faith in advance: while waterproofing works performed under unresolved hollow drumming conditions may improve the leakage situation to a certain extent, the structural voids and water seepage paths caused by hollow drumming will definitely weaken the waterproofing effectiveness and may lead to recurrence of leakage in the future. Such factors fall outside the Company’s scope of works and warranty responsibility. Customers should first address the hollow drumming issues on the external walls in order to achieve more satisfactory waterproofing results. The Company expressly sets out this matter in the warranty terms to protect the rights and interests of both parties.

Warranty Claim Procedure

To protect the rights and interests of both parties, the Company only accepts warranty claims within a reasonable scope. For warranty claims involving water leakage issues, the Company will arrange for technical personnel to conduct an on-site inspection to confirm whether the leakage is caused by the Company’s works. If the inspection confirms that the problem falls outside the warranty coverage (including cases where the Company’s leakage-related repair works were not carried out, where the issue is caused by site environmental factors, or where it is affected by hollow drumming on the external walls), the Company will not provide free warranty service, and the customer shall bear the relevant repair costs.

If the matter falls outside the warranty coverage, the Company will not provide free warranty service.
